Hole in the Wall Dive April 27th.

Diving the Hole in the Wall off Jupiter is always an unusual dive. It is a popular dive site because the depth and proximity to the Gulfstream attracts many large pelagic visitors.

For advanced divers, the Hole in the Wall offers a chance to explore a non-intimidating sandy bottom undersea cave.

Within minutes across strong currents you drift to a cavern with a difficult access. Starting at a depth of 135 feet, this large cavern tunnels 60 feet through the rock before letting you out on the other side. You can swim through and clearly see the other side from the entrance in this 20′ high cavern.

The area is known to be a regular hangout for Bull sharks, Manta Rays, Lemon Sharks, Goliath Grouper, 150 pound Cubera Snapper and 300 to 400 pound Goliath Grouper. A quarter mile long schools of Bonita and huge schools of jacks have all been seen on this dive, making it a colorful and interesting experience. There you’ll have the opportunity to see nurse sharks sleeping quietly under a ledge.

Come join us on April 27th for this dive, must be Advanced Nitrox and Decompression certified or higher, rebreather divers are welcome to join us on this Deco Dive at the Hole In The Wall followed by a shallower reef dive.
