Retail Scuba Diving Sales Professional
This position is part of the in-store retail team. Scuba sales experience is a plus, but your willingness to learn and your passion for all things diving are equally important.
As a Retail Sales associate, you must have a working knowledge of our retail equipment categories in order to determine the best needs for our clients and generate sales, be able to service and fill tanks, manage and stock inventory items, use our payments system which includes handling cash, and keep the store clean in order to present an inviting environment for our divers.
Shifts are generally 8 to 10 hours long.
Payment is weekly.
Responsibilities include
- Phone management—which includes reservations, equipment questions, travel, and general inquiries
- Cash management and the use of our point-of-sale computer
- Scheduling charters and classes, and assigning the appropriate crew member(s) to teach or facilitate each event
- Sell and answer questions regarding our scuba equipment.
- Fill, inspect, and service tanks, which requires the ability to lift tanks inside our store and in and out of a truck at our boat location
- Keep the store clean
- Additional responsibilities as directed
