Digital Underwater Photography

Capture a memory. Record an amazing wreck. Memorialize a bucket-list dive. All it takes is a camera and a bit of know-how. Join Jupiter Dive Center and learn the techniques that will have you snapping captivating underwater photographs in no time!

The underwater realm is a fascinating place full of fascinating creatures, and no matter how many times you may dive the same site, it is never the same. Underwater photography captures that world and brings it into focus.

What to Expect

Digital photography offers several advantages over film: it’s more affordable, results are instantaneous, editing is a breeze, and it’s easy to share the results with friends! Like taking a photograph topside, the quality of an underwater photograph is a combination of lighting, location, and luck. This course teaches you about what to look for in equipment, how to work with ambient and artificial lighting, how to frame your subject, and the importance of buoyancy control to ensure you get the shot you want!

What Do You Need?

Diver’s enrolled in this course will need a camera and laptop.
