While it doesn’t happen often, sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate. In the event the tour is canceled due to weather, you have the option to request a refund or choose another day to cruise.
-
Non-weather Cancellation Policy
We get it, sometimes plans change. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance of the cruise will receive a full refund. Cancellations made with 24-48 hours prior to the tour will receive a 50% refund. Cancelations on the day of the tour will not receive a refund.
-
Late Arrival Policy
In fairness to all our guests, the boat will leave at the scheduled time of the tour. Once the boat has left the dock, if you are not present, your reservation will be considered canceled, and there will not be a refund.
-
Smoking and Vaping Policy
All Jupiter Dive Center boats are non-smoking.
-
Alcohol
We allow cruisers to bring their own beer or wine to enjoy in moderation, but hard spirits are not allowed. The Captain is charged with the safety of everyone on board the boat and has the authority to return to the dock at any point if deemed necessary, and that includes if a person becomes intoxicated. Please drink responsibly.
Departure Info
Don’t miss the boat!
Our boat will be docked at 1001 N. Alternate A1A in Jupiter, and our Tour Director and Captain will be there to welcome you. Please plan on arriving fifteen minutes prior to the cruise time in order to complete your liability waiver and choose your seat. (Once you’ve reserved a tour online, you can call our shop to select a seat prior to the tour date.) But don’t worry, there is plenty of room to move around the deck and see everything!
As you’re nearing the address, you’ll see the grassy parking area, which is for our clients. After you enter, make an immediate left to enter the lot and then park facing the fence and close to your neighbor to make sure everyone has room.

Relaxed cruising on calm water (protected Intracoastal)
Jupiter is home to plenty of wildlife, and on the intracoastal, we may encounter manatees in the shallows, sea turtles on the surface, and dolphins frolicking in the waves. Those big batches of sticks on channel markers? Look closely, and you may see an osprey or three!
The Intracoastal is protected by land, which makes the water much smoother than being out in the ocean, but in the evening, it can get chilly, so you may want to dress in layers. If you’re going out during the day, make sure to wear your sunscreen!
Our boats are spacious and provide both covered and open cushioned seating. There is a restroom onboard.
A Bit of History
The Florida Coast Line Canal & Transportation Company started dredging a series of canals to create an inland waterway in the northern part of Florida in 1881. Ten years later, they reached Jupiter and continued to push southward. By 1912, the interconnected canals and waterways had become known as the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, stretching all the way to Miami.
Today, the Intracoastal Waterway provides a sheltered route that serves both commercial and private boaters. Its Atlantic section stretches roughly from Massachusetts down to Key West, creating a haven for leisurely and scenic cruising, fishing, wildlife viewing, historic experiences, and recreation.
We hope you’ll join us to experience a bit of this incredible waterway for yourself!
