New Procedures

We ask that all customers wear face covering while checking-in and on the boat.

Jupiter Dive Center’s online reservation system has been disabled for now.
During the spacing restrictions we have chosen to change our booking and rental equipment policies to keep our divers and our crew safe.
Below are the new temporary procedures for boat charters.

What you need to know.

  • When we take your diving reservation, we will be reserving any equipment at that time and taking payment. What this will do, is allow us to stage and sanitize gear in the evening and handle the gear less at check in.
  • Please bring your certification card. To limit contact in the store we will not look up any certification cards. If you lost your card, please call us ahead of your charter day and we will order a new card for you.
  • At check in you will need to complete a Covid-19 release and our JDC liability release. You will need to present your certification card.
  • You will be assigned a spot on the boat. There will be limited undercover spaces. Please bring a hat and sunblock to protect yourself.
  • If you are using our nitrox tanks or we are filling yours, you will witness a JDC crew member analyzing the mix in the tank and you will log your mix.
  • Tanks will be brought down to the boat.
  • Please exit the store immediately after you have completed your check in process.
  • Once all the tanks are brought to the boat you will be directed to board.
  • On board there will be 2 bottles of water and one snack at your seat. 3-tank dives will have additional water. We will not be providing lunch.
  • When the captain is setting divers up for diving, we are requiring regulators be put in your mouth prior to standing up. This will allow the deck hand to help assist you getting to the stern of the boat and protecting himself at the same time.
  • After the dive, please leave your regulator in your mouth until you are seated, and the deck hand secures you in your seat.
  • There is hand sanitizer in the restroom on the boat.
  • When we return to the dock, we will let divers off the boat first and then remove the tanks. Please go directly to the rinse bins and make way for the crew to get the tanks to the shop.

These procedures will be fluid. We will adjust as needed. Please be patient with JDC crew and each other, we are all learning new safety procedures together.

PLEASE CONSIDER: If you suffer from seasickness, please consider not booking. If you decide to book, please take additional precautions with seasick medications.

Thanks in advance. We look forward to seeing you.
