Shark on wreck

When it comes to planning your Thanksgiving holiday, it’s never too early—especially if you want to get out of town and do things that don’t require a table and an elastic waistband. Jupiter, Florida is a premier dive location, and Jupiter Dive Center has everything you need to make this holiday special—charters, classes, and gear! Plus our boats are steps from the shop and we’ve got plenty of parking. So, put away your passport, grab your C-card and let’s go diving!

It’s all about you—even if you’ve never been diving. Take the plunge with Jupiter Dive Center and let our staff of professional instructors introduce you to the wonderful world of scuba diving. Earn your Basic Scuba Certification on the incredible coral reefs and wrecks of the Treasure Coast.

Wreck Diver

Already certified? Maybe you’ve identified that a particular skill is challenging. Or perhaps you see other divers doing things you want to do—like going deeper, breathing nitrox, taking photos, exploring wrecks. We offer certifications in Enriched Air Diver, Digital Underwater Photographer,  Wreck Diver and more. Check out all our specialty courses here!

Or up your game to an Advanced Open Water Diver and you’ll be able to learn about deep diving, navigation, and a few other topics of your choice.

If you are already an accomplished diver, you may want to consider the benefits of helping other divers (or yourself) in an emergency. If so, Rescue Diver is for you!

If classes sound like too much work for a holiday, don’t worry, we’ve got options. Jupiter Dive Center runs two tank charters every morning at 9 a.m. (weather permitting, of course), and afternoon charters at 1:30 p.m..

There are lots of reasons diving in Jupiter, Florida is special—including the fact that the nation’s only coral reef runs just offshore. Add to that an abundance of vibrant reef fish, large marine life that cruise in the Gulf Stream, and bucket list dives, well, you really can’t go wrong.

Need New Gear?

By November, the water temperature is starting to dip and if it’s time to upgrade your wetsuit, we’ve got plenty, along with any other bit of equipment you might need to complete your kit. Scubapro is one of the leading manufacturers of scuba gear, and Jupiter Dive Center is a Scubapro Platinum Dealer. Our knowledgeable staff can help you find exactly what you need.

Jupiter Dive Center is located in Palm Beach County, an area easily accessible by car or plane. Palm Beach International Airport is a mere 20 miles south of the shop, and an easy drive along the 95 freeway. There are oodles of places to stay in Palm Beach County from familiar chains to cozy boutique accommodations—and even more restaurants with outdoor seating or takeout options.

Make this holiday special—but don’t delay! Call Jupiter Dive Center at 561-745-7807 or go online to book your dives today…or you may have one less thing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving holiday. (But don’t worry, winter break is right around the corner!)

Why Your Next Dive Vacation Should Be With Jupiter Dive Center

Why Your Next Dive Vacation Should Be With Jupiter Dive Center

Divers are explorers, so it’s no surprise that they like to travel, too. So why travel with Jupiter Dive Center when you could strike out on your own? We’re glad you asked….

Before you became a diver, had you heard of Raja Ampat? How about the Bloody Bay Wall? Jupiter Dive Center knows all about these places, because we’ve been there. We’ve done the research, visited the resorts, and spoken to the dive operators we’ll be using. In short, we’ve done our homework and made all the arrangements, so you don’t have to.

Has it been a while since your last dive? We’re in the water with you. New divers in particular often feel more comfortable diving with a group. And a dive vacation allows you to dial in your skills and increase your confidence.  With advanced notice, we can even arrange various certification courses.

Traveling with Jupiter Dive Center will introduce you to other divers who share your passion for the ocean.  You can interact with the group as little or as much as you chose when traveling with us.

We always recommend travel insurance, because while we take care of all the arrangements, occasionally life intrudes and you may need to alter your plans.  One thing we do require is that all divers have DAN insurance (and really, that’s something you should obtain as soon as you are certified).

We believe in choices, and every year we offer a variety of trips. Ready to book your dive vacation? Check out the teasers below and follow the links for more information. Most of the divers who travel with us come back again and again.

Mark Your Calendar!

First up is Raja Ampat October 28-November 14, 2018. The vacation starts at Gangga Island Resort. The island is surrounded by a variety of marine life with rare species and pristine reefs in North Sulawesi. Then we transfer to the live-aboard dive boat, Gaia Love and spend the next week in the crystal clear waters of Raja Ampat.

Perhaps island living is more to your liking? Say, in a villa? If so, Dunbar Rock Honduras March 30- April 6, 2019, is the dream vacation for you.

Join us June 8-15, 2019 when we return to Little Cayman for what is quickly becoming an annual trip. You know it’s got to be good if National Geographic rates an area as the best diving in the Caribbean. Bloody Bay Wall’s has been designated as a marine park, and it’s—if you’ll pardon the pun—breathtaking.

October 15 – 25, 2019, you’ll find us in the Solomon Islands. Walls, reefs, pinnacles, and coral gardens await. If ten nights isn’t long enough, you can start the vacation earlier by adding three nights in Fiji October 11-14.

We’ll be adding even more adventures to our calendar in the coming months. Book early, as our trips routinely sell out. All it takes is a deposit, and all you need is your sense of adventure!!

What are you waiting for? Come diving with Jupiter Dive Center!
